This year's art show winners come to Mrs. Waldron's room- room 2502, during Tueday's 6th hour activity period for a picture - bring your winning piece with you!
There will be a wrestling meeting tomorrow in the auditorium during the 6th hour activity period. Anyone who plans on going out next year needs to be there.
Those individuals…male and female, interested in learning more about the 2010-11 Poms/Dance Team should come to Activity Period 6th hour on Tuesday in the commons.
Athletics:
Please dismiss the Varsity Tennis Players at 10:45 to eat 4A lunch and leave at 11:00 for the conference meet. Player going are: VanVoorhees, Cusimano, Nawrot, Schwartz, Smith, Aguire, Temple, and Anthony.
Any boys interested in playing basketball next year is invited to tonight's "Meet the Coach" night. 6:30 in the auditorium
Senior athletes, don't forget tomorrow night Sr. Varsity Awards banquet at the Union Village Hall Banquets, also known as Doneley's. Appetizers will begin at 6:30 with dinner and awards to follow. Casual business dress is appropriate.
Congratulations to the following girls who qualified for the state track meet this past Saturday at sectionals. Katie Sprauge, Paige Malinowski, Morgan Bartlett, and Shawney Damisch in the 4 x 800 relay with a time of 9:50.67 which is a new school record. Allison Rogutich in the triple jump and the 300 hurdles. Katie Adams in the 1600 with a time of 5:08.66 which is a new school record and Brittany Ackley, Melissa Esunis, Paige Lindsley, and Colleen Ryan in the 4 x 200 relay. As a team the girls placed 3rd out of 15 teams. Great job girls.
Attention girls track please turn in your uniforms to Coach Tveter by this Wednesday.
Boys and Girls Cross Country Runners will have a brief meeting Wednesday morning at 7:30 in Coach Meyer's room.
All senior girls soccer players must see Coach Holton today regarding tonight's game.
JV Tennis will have practice today and tomorrow, and will play against Woodstock on Wednesday.

Anyone interested in serving dinner at the Rockford Rescue Mission this summer should see Mr. Petrauskis in room 2407.
Starting today there will be no charging for breakfast or lunch.

The FFA still has vegetable plants for sale. If you are intersted in buying plants please let a current FFA member know, the cost is $1 for a 4- pack, and $1.50 for a 4" pot. We have tomatoes, peppers, cucumbers, and squash.
We are having a final Video Gaming night in the Media Center on Friday. Sign up in the Media Center to attend the 6th hr. Activity Period on Tuesday to plan which games and gaming systems you can bring.
Students that did not attend honors night this week may pick up their certificates in student services.
All library books should be returned today; all books were due last Friday, but if they are returned today there will be no fine. All overdue books and fines must be turned in before the end of school, or you will not receive your report card and/or diploma.

The math team had a 4th place finish Friday at the conference math competition at MCC. The Geometry team of Conner Kasch, Alison Mackey, Shayla Driver, Brianna Schultz, and Emily Cisneros finished 5th. The Algebra 2 team of Austin Brettschneider, Jenna Kunz, Miranda Bowers, Kent Ganvik, and Ashley Borhart finished tied for 3rd. The Pre-calc team of Frank Cusimano, Gavin Smith, Kris Rosemann, Andrew Bolis, and Jacob Hazek finished 4th. Frank Cusimano also finished 5th in the individual Pre-calc test. The fresh-soph team of Kristi Williams and Heather Gustat finished 5th, the junior-senior team of Katie Sprague and Tyler Van Voorhees finished 5th. And the non-calculator team of Jess Williams, Bobby McQueeny, Caroline Kordes, Nayeli Andrade, and Leah Hotchkiss finished 5th. Oh yeah, the Calculus team of Jess Williams, Alfonso Andrade, Tyler Van Voorhees, Bethany DeGrand, and Brenda Becker finished in a 1st place tie.
