All tennis players need to turn their uniforms and locks in to room 1505 today.
There will be a mandatory meeting for all winter sport athletes and parents on Monday, October 18th. The meeting will begin at 7:00 for those not in a fall sport. If you were in a fall sport the meeting will begin at 8:00.
Please dismiss the following tennis players today at 12:15 for a 12:30 leave to sectionals: Wilwers, Trader, Fillmore & Fillmore, Torman, and Martin.
The varsity Scholastic Bowl team's first practice will take place at 7:15, Monday morning, in room 2407. Any junior interested in trying out for the team should attend.
Seniors: Remember your portrait appointment times today. The photographer is in the choir room. If you forgot when your appointment is – the schedule is posted on the band hallway door.
We are still collecting money for One for Books; this money will buy books for Children International, which will go to children living in poverty-stricken areas. So far, the Seniors are ahead of the Sophomores by only two dollars! Today is the last day to donate during lunch, but next week is Teen Read Week, and you can donate in the Media Center when you come in for our special activities. You will have until October 25th to donate to the jar for your class, and the winner will be announced on October 26th. Each student in the winning class will win candy, which can be picked up in the Media Center that day.
The following “Students of the Month” will be honored with a pizza lunch donated by Joe’s Place today in the guidance office during the 4b lunch period: Matt Arnold, Coral Boss, Amanda Bronge, Taylor Clemens, William Cunningham, Chris Guerra, Nick Opie, Luke Piske, Samantha Vito, Lisanne Werle, and Brittany Wolf.
Congratulations to these students caught being good: Jamie Lopez, Erin Tonyan, and Taylor Berman.
Underclass portraits will be taken on November 1st instead of tomorrow.
There will a Journalism Club meeting today after school in room 2405.
Marengo Main Street is looking for high school students to participate in the upcoming coffin races. For rules and more information, stop by the administration office.
There will not be a parent meeting for winter cheerleaders and their parents. A meeting will be held in November to discuss the season.
