In accordance with Governor Pritzker’s directive, Marengo Community High School District 154 will be closed through the end of the school year.  Students will continue e-Learning until we resume in-person instruction.  

STUDENTS:

If you have not completed the e-Learning Technology Survey please do it immediately.

Students must check in daily during the week between 9 and 11 am using the online student attendance form located at www.mchs154.org. Click on the “MCHS eLearning” button and record your attendance.   Once your attendance is recorded, please begin working on activities/assignments posted by your teachers, in order to work towards completing your classes for credit.

Postponed Events and Activities:

Because the safety and health of our students and staff is our top priority, at this time all events and activities scheduled in the near future will be postponed until future dates can be determined.  This includes but is not limited to:

Meal pick up:

We will continue making meal pickup available for students in need.  Every Tuesday through the school closure meals will now be available on the north side, by door 13 of Marengo High School at 110 Franks Road in Marengo between 12 and 2 pm.  We will package one week of lunches and breakfast items per student for each home in need. We will continue this service weekly with adjustment to days and times in the future if needed.

To help us know how many meals to prepare weekly for our families we are asking those in need to please email or call the school each week no later than Thursday evening at 5 pm.  The email address to use is MCHS@mchs154.org  For Spanish please call 815-568-6511 extension 1371.  For English please call 815-568-6511 extension 1606. Please leave a message including the following information:  your last name and the total number of students in your home for which you need meals.

When you arrive you will be asked your last name and the number of student meals needed, we will then get your order.  Please remain in your car and allow MCHS staff to put the food directly in the trunk of your car. Again, please email MCHS@mchs154.org or call with this information weekly no later than 5 pm on Thursdays.
