MARENGO AREA SCHOOLS 5th ANNUAL VETERANS DAY ASSEMBLY

This yearís Veterans Day Assembly will take place on Monday, November 12th at 9:00 a.m. in the Marengo Community High School Gymnasium. All Veterans and community members are invited to attend. Area Veterans, past and present, will be honored. This yearís keynote speaker is WGN TV News Anchor and Veteran Dr. Robert Jordan. As a special added feature new this year, you can watch the ceremony live on www.ihsa.tv/marengo or On-Demand afterwards. If you would like to send a special message to someone currently serving, you can email it to Dawn Seemann at seemannd@mchs154.org by Friday, November 9th. We would like to limit the message to 40 characters. These messages will be included at the end of the video. The ceremony is expected to run until 10:15 a.m. Approximately 2000 community members and Veterans are expected to attend. Please come out to honor and show your support of our United States Servicemen and women. It truly means a lot to each and every one of them to know how much we appreciate their sacrifices for our country. Hope to see you there! »

CUSTOM CLOCKS

SkillsUSA students are making custom clocks as a fundraiser to offset expenses associated with attending the SkillsUSA state competition in Springfield. We will make the clock with your studentís picture and Marengo Indian lettering with an Indian head behind the clock or any one of the sports logos. You may also choose between a maroon face with white boarder or a white face with maroon boarder. Other options are with or without a clock, all numbers on the clock, four numbers (12, 3, 6, 9), or no numbers at all. Pricing: $50.00 with a clock $45.00 without a clock.
