PARENTS OF HOME-SCHOOLED STUDENTS
NOTICE OF PUBLIC MEETING
If you are the parent of a homeschooled student who has been or may be identified with a disability AND you reside within the boundaries of Marengo Community High School District 154, you are urged to attend a meeting with a Special Education District representative. The purpose of the meeting will be to discuss the district’s plans for providing special education services to students with disabilities who attend home schools within the district for the 2026-2027 school year.
This meeting will be on Wednesday, May 20th, at 1:00 pm in the Library at Marengo Community High School. Please RSVP to Julie Amendt, Director of Special Education, at amendtj@mchs154.org or by calling 815-568-6511 x1333.

AVISO DE JUNTA PÚBLICA
Si usted es el padre de un estudiante que hace escuela en casa que ha sido o puede ser identificado con una discapacidad y recibe dentro de los límites del Distrito 154 de Marengo Community High School , se le urge a asistir a una reunión con un representante del Distrito de Educación Especial. El propósito de la reunión será discutir los planes del distrito para brindar servicios de educación especial a los estudiantes con discapacidades que asisten a escuelas en casa del distrito para el año escolar 2026-2027.
