Members of the MCHS Chapter of the National Honor Society spent an evening at Feed My Starving Children in Schaumburg, where they packed meals for children in need.

A group of CTE students traveled to McHenry County College on March 6 to compete in the Illinois Design Educators Association (IDEA) drafting competition. Freshman Sean Rose placed third in the Introduction to Board division. Congratulations, Sean!

On December 14th, the Chicago Bears honored Marengo Head Football Coach Paul Forsythe & Junior football player Maverick Shines as Week One Coach & Player of the week for the 2025 season. The recognition took place at Soldier Field during halftime of the Bears vs Browns game.

This holiday season, students from NHS, FFA, and HOSA collaborated to host a toys and food drive for Toys for Tots. Thank you for all the donations to our drive!

Congratulations to Jacob Anusewicz for participating in the 2025 High School Internship Program this past summer and completing a 10-week internship with Scot Forge. He did a fantastic job representing our school and truly embracing the opportunity to learn and grow in a hands-on manufacturing environment.
