Kimi Serna and Kaylee Hanlon completed the week-long NIU Summer Art Camp at Northern Illinois University in DeKalb. They spent a week taking art classes run by NIU and guest faculty, making art, and eventually setting up a public art show on the final day of camp.

On December 14th, the Chicago Bears honored Marengo Head Football Coach Paul Forsythe & Junior football player Maverick Shines as Week One Coach & Player of the week for the 2025 season. The recognition took place at Soldier Field during halftime of the Bears vs Browns game.
